A Google-Free Lifestyle!

Hello good people!

Well it’s a beautifully rainy and dreary day here in downtown Chicago, which is my absolute favorite kind of day. I always get so much done when it rains. I’m not really sure why. It’s also great for thinking…and I’ve been doing a lot of that lately since the Google Penguin update!

Last week I went on a bit of a rant and talked about how I’m done with the thin adsense game and will now be focusing on a totally new business strategy that doesn’t rely on the insane Google roller coaster for traffic.

I’ve been thinking about that over the weekend, and I’m starting to narrow down exactly what I’ll be doing.

I’ve basically decided on one of two strategies….either:

1. One Large Shopping Site
2. A Bunch Of Smaller Targeted Shopping Sites

These won’t be your average shopping sites, they’ll be unique. I’ll be using different strategies that I used for my thin empire here. Things like spun text, affiliate products from amazon.com and others like commission junction and shopzilla, cpa offers etc.

I’m also going to build in some unique price comparison functionality, and somehow tie in a mobile app into the site.

I’ll be working through this right here on MarketingFool.com from the ground up…explaining exactly what I’m doing and how I’m doing it from start to finish so that you can follow along and build something similar. I’ll also be sharing earnings data as I go along, just like in the past.

One of the major things I’ll be focusing on, besides teaching you how to build a site just like it, will be how to build traffic without Google. You’re not going to want to miss it.

I’m still finalizing some of the ideas for the site in my head, so it’s going to be a slow process. But I plan on keeping you posted every day.

And I’m thinking about creating screencast videos of the site building process as I go along so that you can see EXACTLY how I’m building the site. But I haven’t decided on that yet. It depends on the level of interest.
