My Website Creation Schedule

By: John Elder posted in Adsense

Hello good people!

Yesterday was another miserable earnings day, bringing in $31 in Adsense income and $3 in Amazon commissions. At least the weather was nice!

You may remember a while back I bought about 2,000 new .info domain names (at $.67 each). I’ve been waiting till I finished building my bot that builds my sites automatically to create those sites.

But I finished the bot last week, so it’s time to start building those sites.

Today I want to talk about my website building schedule because I think it’s a pretty important concept that everyone should understand.

Why a schedule?

You’d think with a bot that builds sites automatically, I’d just throw up all 2,000 of those sites at once. But I’m not going to do that.

Instead I’m going to have my bot build 30 sites a day, 7 days a week until all 2,000 are built.

Let’s break that down a little bit. 30 sites a day equals 210 sites a week, or roughly 840 a month. At that rate all the sites will be built in about two and a half months.

Why spread them out?

It’s so very important to spread out your site creation over a long period of time. In fact the best thing is to continually be building sites. In two and a half months when all 2,000 are built I’ll analyze the results and probably buy more domain names. Maybe I’ll build 50 a day from then on…whatever the number is it’s important to be consistent.

Things go wrong with this business. Google might release another Panda update tomorrow that kills all your sites but doesn’t necessarily penalize new sites. Imagine having all 2,000 sites built and then a week later having Google kill them.

Or, my sites might get hit by a Google manual reviewer and deindexed. If that happens, I can start over the next day.

Sometimes Google just isn’t in the indexing mood. I’ve thrown up 50 sites one day and had a heck of a time getting them indexed, and then thrown up 50 the next day and had every one of them get indexed immediately. So spreading them out mitigates that risk too.

And on and on and on…I could give examples all day.

The point is, it’s important to ease into things and be consistent.

What’s your schedule?

You might not start out as strong as my 2,000 sites. You might only want 100 sites. It doesn’t matter…just be consistent. Start by building 1-2 sites a day till you build all 100.

Whatever schedule you ultimately decide on, the important thing is to…

Keep on building!
