Adsense Internet Lifestyle

By: John Elder posted in Adsense

Hello good people!

Welcome to November! I’m still putting together last month’s Adsense numbers, I’ll post them in the next day or so. As expected, income was down because of the deadly Panda Update, but not nearly as bad as it could have been.

At first glance earnings were down about 60% across the board. Like I said…could have been worse! Today I want to talk about something a little different. Namely, the Adsense Internet lifestyle.

It’s important to take a step back every once in a while and reflect on why we work in this specific industry. It can be easy to get wrapped up in things…like all the drama surrounding Google and their killer Panda updates, or Amazon API changes, or even hackers attacking your sites.

Today is an amazing day. That’s really the only way to describe it. Here in downtown Chicago it’s about 65 degrees, sunny, with a slight breeze every once in a while that knocks a few red and yellow leaves off the trees. You don’t get very many days like this…especially when you consider that it’s Chicago, and in a few weeks it will probably be snowing.

I seemed to instinctively know it was going to be an awesome day as soon as I woke up. Why? Because I didn’t feel like working!

After I crawled out of bed and showered, I wandered downstairs with my ipad in hand, out the door, and down the street to Starbucks for my morning Venti coffee. I do this every morning, but today after I had read the paper and finished my coffee I noticed how amazing the weather was.

There was only one thing to do

I dropped off my ipad at my apartment and struck off to the park! Work be damned, I was going to enjoy this day!

I spent the next couple of hours wandering around Lincoln park, which is a huge park just a short walk from my apartment right here in the city. I didn’t do much of anything but watch leaves fall, enjoy the sunshine, and basically just relax.

Next I came home and ate lunch…then started typing this article. After that I’m going to workout, and then maybe take a little nap, and then probably head out to wander around the city some more.

Adsense allows me to do all that

What other job can you have that allows you to take off the entire day on a whim, just because the weather’s nice? Adsense and Internet Marketing in general offer freedom. Sure there’s lots of work involved and you can’t just take off every day…but you can definitely take off random days whenever you want.

I can’t imagine living life any other way. I’ve never actually had a real job, but I still don’t take this lifestyle for granted.

What about you?

Are you still tied to a job somewhere? Did you have to ask your boss’s permission to take today off, or worse yet, did you have to play sick like you were back in high school?

If you haven’t taken the plunge into the world of Internet marketing and Adsense…I really encourage you to do it today. You don’t have to quit your job right away…start by working on building your adsense empire for one hour a night when you get home from your job.

In no time flat, you’ll have a few hundred websites and enough income to seriously consider quitting your job and becoming an Internet bum like me. Believe me, it’s worth it!

Keep on building!

Hey john. love the website. You got a ton of information on here which is great. I have a question for you. You say you have over 300 websites. how much content on average do you place on these sites. It must be a nightmare keeping up with them. Also do you add content to them periodically or do you you set and forget. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks and keep up the good work.

      Hey thanks!

Just wrote an article today on content you can read here. I build my sites to pull in mashed up stuff like twitter feeds that update constantly, which gives the illusion of freshness 😉 other than that, I set and forget.
