Black Friday + Adsense = Awesome!

Hello good people!
Here we are, back at Saturday again. Time really flies when you’re living the Adsense lifestyle, let me tell you! It’s raining today here in downtown Chicago and you know what that means…off to Starbucks I go as soon as I write this article!
Yesterday was Black Friday here in the U.S. and if you don’t know what that means, its the day after Thanksgiving that signifies the official start of the Christmas shopping season. Stores go wild with massive discounts, some as early as midnight on Thursday.
So how did you make out?
I’m not talking about any good deals you might have gotten while shopping…I’m talking about your Adsense revenue. I did pretty well, even considering the Panda slap my sites are still languishing under.
Just to give you an example of my Adsense earnings, in the four days following Black Friday, I earned exactly $73 on Monday, $69 on Tuesday, $68 on Wednesday, $69 on Thursday. That’s an average of about $70 a day.
It’s not as good as the earnings I was getting pre-panda, but it’s a lot better than the $40 a day I’ve been making since Panda.
But how much did I make on Black Friday? $120
And that doesn’t even include Amazon.com affiliate commissions, which weren’t too shabby.
Why the spike in earnings?
Simple, people shop like mad on Black Friday…and not just in stores but online as well. In fact, the data shows that the percentage of online shopping has risen compared to regular brick and mortar shopping during the holiday season every year since around 1996.
And our Adsense websites are ideally positioned to take advantage of this shopping.
Think about it…someone goes to Google and types out a long tail keyword searching for a specific product like “Coleman 6-pack ice cooler with wheels in red on sale”…
Bam! our longtail keyword optimized website pops up in the top ten ranking, the person clicks on the link at Google and comes to our site, and the very first thing they see is a big Adsense ad that says “HUGE DISCOUNTS ON COLEMAN COOLERS” or something similar, so they click on the ad.
They’ve found a deal on the exact product they’re looking for, we’ve made a nice advertising commission, the advertiser has acquired a new customer, and Google has facilitated the whole thing.
It’s a win – win – win – win situation for everyone involved!
Did you miss out?
So how did you make out? Did you miss out on the Black Friday shopping frenzy because you procrastinated and didn’t build your Adsense sites?
Don’t worry, there’s still lots of shopping time left between now and Christmas; if you hustle you can throw up a couple hundred sites in the next couple of days and take advantage of the holiday shopping season.
Just remember, it takes 1-3 weeks to get indexed in Google, so you’re looking at a very narrow time frame. But even if you miss out this year, you’ll still earn regular levels of Adsense income from those sites. So hurry, and…
